Will the New Nicki Minaj Please Stand Up!

New Year 2013 and someone seems to have toned down their crazy costume antics at least for now. Nicki Minaj has been spotted at various events around town and dressing dare I say ” Normal” Her classic blond hair and snatched face is still in effect but she has seemed to tone down her look… maybe for the better. Personally I love the new looks still very Nicki-esque but  fashionable where someone can flip through a magazine and say I’m inspired and would love to even mimic it.

I would love for her wig game to get better though in recent photos the lace front has been rearing its ugly head more and more, Terrence Davidson has left the creative team which is so apparent. Need a new hairstylist I’d call Hadiiya Barbel she doesn’t make wigs she makes crowns for the likes of Wendy Williams, Mya, Eva Marcille, and Ashanti to name a few. I think she’s perfect for the role, what do you think?

Where’s The Respect? Nicki Cusses Out Mariah on Idol

Alright so its all over the internet Nicki Minaj has a tantrum and cusses out Mariah FREAKING Carey-Cannon! What! Are you serious? I didn’t believe it thought maybe it was a publicity stunt but after viewing the video clearly you can tell she’s going back to her un-educated roots on the job. Check it out below

 

 

Clearly Nicki Minaj doesn’t think that this will not have an adverse effect on her since she did it, but I have news,  ”Nicki you’re too dagon old for this honey”. This is not Love & Hip Hop, Basketball Wives, or Housewives of Atlanta, so in the words of my girl Tamar Braxton ” Go get you Life and take several at the Kodak Theatre!!!”

Much respect to Nicki for her hustle and ability to go from rap to pop in 10 seconds flat but after this how can one respect you as a professional you’re giving young women in the industry a bad name. If nothing else RESPECT your elders.  This notion of if you’re REAL you have to pop off is complete and total BULLSHIT. Yup simply no other way to put it, I don’t care how passionate or peeved off you are if its that serious take it to the people in charge to fix it, until then bare and grin. There is money to be made, with brands and fans to satisfy. Mariah Carey can dance around on your two albums easily and still you can’t touch her  or the number of fans, PLATINUM albums, or respect the WORLD has for her. So before you get kicked off Idol because you’re no longer family friendly, gather your senses and make a public apology to Mariah because trust and believe her fans won’t have that. Up Out My Face!
