I’m sure every once in awhile you wonder what certain celebrities are up to so Miss Merli In NYC did some research on Ashanti to see what she’s been up to. Last time you saw her she was on the Grammy red carpet with her Tony Ward couture gown that landed her on the worst dress list.

Ashanti is no one trick pony though drumming up work in all facets of the entertainment industry. She has started a record label entitled Written Entertainment, will be dropping her new album Braveheart.

Ashanti has also joined the “Army Wives” cast on Lifetime whoa Nelly! Pun intended, her character on the 7th season is Latasha Montclair

Alright Ashanti I see you. Saying good bye to Nelly must’ve been easy since you’re so busy. If you haven’t noticed they are broken up while I don’t know the details, I’m sure she’ll be just fine.

That Jacket
